Wall Removed, Island Added: Open-Concept Kitchen in North Mankato

A 1978 ranch home with a walled-off galley kitchen became an open-plan living space after load-bearing wall removal, a full cabinet replacement, and a custom quartz island with seating for four. New LVP flooring ties the kitchen and dining area together for the first time since the home was built.

Country Kitchen Remodel: Raised-Panel Cabinets & Granite, Hilltop

Outdated oak cabinets with laminate countertops gave way to raised-panel painted white cabinetry paired with a Bianco Romano granite countertop. The layout stayed the same — the result looks entirely different. New hardware, subway tile backsplash, and recessed lighting complete the transformation.

Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel: Shaker Cabinets, Butcher Block & New Flooring

Damaged vinyl flooring, a missing backsplash, and builder-grade cabinets were replaced with white shaker cabinetry, walnut butcher block countertops, engineered hardwood flooring, and a full-height zellige tile backsplash behind the range. A clean farmhouse result in a Washington Park bungalow.

1986 Split-Level Redesigned: Full-Height Cabinets & Waterfall Peninsula, South Mankato

This complete gut renovation removed the closed-in feel of the original split-level kitchen and replaced it with clean vertical lines, full-height flat-panel cabinetry, and a quartz peninsula with a waterfall edge. Recessed LED lighting, large-format tile flooring, and open sightlines into the dining and living areas give the space a brighter, more modern feel that finally fits the rest of the home.
